Return, Exchange, and Refund Policy

We offer a lifetime "solid as steel" guarantee on our products.  Made to order products may be returned or exchanged if they arrive damaged or otherwise have a quality defect.

All online order returns, refunds, and exchanges must be made through our returns process through our customer service team via ordersupport@metaldecor4u.com or you can give us a call or SMS at 786-664-7402.

Refund Policy

  • Custom items are non-refundable. It is of utmost importance that you verify the spelling of the names and finishes that you choose. We cannot allow the cancellation or return of custom items, as all items are made to order.
  • Non-Customized Item(s) and Stock Items are subject to a 20% cancellation or return fee, but is solely at the discretion of MetalDecor4U.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise during transit, and our protection plan is designed to offer you peace of mind and support in such cases. Here are the key aspects of our updated policy:

Package Protection Coverage Details:

Product Lost in Transit: In the unfortunate event that your order goes missing during transit, our Package Protection (available for purchase) has you covered. We have established a streamlined claims process to ensure that you receive the assistance you need. Simply initiate a claim within 72 hours of the delivery, and we'll guide you through the necessary steps to resolve the situation.

Product Damaged in Transit: We recognize the disappointment of receiving a damaged product due to transit issues. With our protection plan, you can rest assured that we are here to help. Should you encounter a damaged product upon delivery, our Package Protection (available for purchase) is designed to provide a solution. Initiate a claim within 72 hours, and we'll work closely with you to arrange a replacement or repair.

Terms and Conditions:

To maintain transparency and provide you with a seamless experience, we've outlined the terms and conditions of our Package Protection:

    • Note: Our Package Protection coverage is available for purchase at the time of placing your order. Please ensure you opt for this protection if you wish to avail yourself of its benefits.
    • Claims must be reported within 72 hours from the time of delivery. This timeframe ensures that we can promptly address any concerns that may arise.
    • Each eligible item covered by our protection plan is entitled to one replacement or repair. Our goal is to ensure that you receive products that meet your satisfaction.
    • To expedite the claims process, please provide us with a clear image of the defective product. Our dedicated Customer Support Team is ready to assist you and will guide you on the most effective method for submitting images.

 

We want you to be completely satisfied with your order. We've created this return and exchange process to make your experience as effortless as possible!

HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ITEM

To begin the returns process, please send an email to our customer service support team at ordersupport@metaldecor4u.com with your Name, Order Number, Picture of the defective product/incorrect item, and reason for return/refund.

  • As soon as we receive the request, our customer service team will review the order and will provide feedback within the next 24-48 hours.
  • If the order qualifies as approved for return/refund, our team will send you a return label to your email address.
  • Package your return using the return label from our customer service team and drop off at a UPS facility. You need to use the return label sent by our customer service team. Do not send returns to the original address.
  • You will be notified when your return has been received at our warehouse. Once received, we can do one of the following options:
    • We can refund your original form of payment in 3-5 business days.
    • We can send a replacement of the order and have it ready within the next 72 hours.

If your tracking number states your order was delivered, but you claim you did not receive it, we have to rely on the tracking number. We would require you to provide a claim ID from the local delivery service and validate it. As soon as the review is complete, we will send a replacement.

Return Shipping Costs:

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Replacements:

Defective or incorrect items will be replaced. Send pictures of the item to start the process. If an order is lost in transit, we will send a replacement. If the tracking shows the order was delivered but you haven't received it, provide a claim ID from your local post office for verification.

 

Returned to Sender:

Orders returned due to an incorrect address will be reshipped after a shipping and handling fee is paid. If not reshipped, refunds will exclude original shipping costs, priority processing, insurance, and include a 30% restocking fee. If the package isn't returned, a 50% store credit is offered.

There have been times when packages are refused by the manufacturer or inadvertently destroyed by the postal carrier. Sometimes they end up lost in transit. In any case in which we do not receive the package back, we can provide a 50% store credit towards a new item.

If you provided the correct address, we will reship the order to the same address free of charge. If you want to change the address, you will need to pay the shipping and handling fee.

Order Cancellation:

  • All of our products are printed on demand for each customer at the time that they order.
  • Orders can be canceled or modified within 12 hours after purchase. Exceptions apply to Apparel, Mugs, Acrylics, and Ornaments.
  • Once a metal order is in production at the shop, we cannot cancel it.

Warranties:

Our standard refund and replacement policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 60 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately, refunds or replacements cannot be offered.

Consumer Rights & Compliance:

  • For U.S. customers: Our policies adhere to the FTC guidelines and the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act.
  • For Canadian customers: Our return and refund policies respect Canadian consumer protection laws.
